Karma and You light up my life...... or go back to sleep honey you are only dreaming.

As karma would have it hubs is a very active sleeper I.E. he talks, sings, and sometimes even sleep walks.
So it came as no surprise one night when I awake to find hubs stumbling around the bedroom in the dark seeming to search for something. "What are you doing?" I ask " Its a light." he answers, Did I mention that he sometimes will answer my questions but with nonsense answers. Once My mom called and Hubs answered the phone only to hang up and inform me that it was the people with knowledge. My response was "So, it was a encyclopedia salesman?" He then mumbled something and quickly went back to sleep.
So as you can imagine I was really not surprised by the antics that were happening in the middle of the night. I say " Just got back to sleep honey, for you are only dreaming." Hubs says "No, for real I see something." "Can't you see it?" he asks. I sit up for a second in the still dark room. I wait, and wait, and wait. Nothing. Oh good grief I think and lay back down rolling over and getting comfy.
Only to be woken up by a light being turned on in the room. " Awww come on." I groan. "Just get back in the bed." Hubs looks at me and says "I am awake for crying out loud." " That's what you always say." I said. I insist he turn off the light, and once again go back to sleep.
Hubs continues to look under the bed, behind dressers,  stumbling and bumbling around in the dark.
finally he settles down and climbs back into bed soon I hear him snoring. So I too settle down for sleep.
When all of the sudden hubs sits straight up in the bed and calls my name "Angela, there it is again the light." "Just watch." he says. Not this again I think, I put a pillow over my face and say in a muffled tone. "I am sleepy, just go to sleep, Ugh." Hubs jerks the pillow off my face. Telling me to sit up and wait. "I am really awake." he said "Just watch and you will see the light." I sit up and wait, and wait my eyes heavy when all of the sudden a flash that lights up the whole room. What the .......?" I look at hubs with surprise on my face "See, I told you." he says. Now I am out of bed crawling around on the floor thinking what the hell was that. This was a bright flash, quick and brighter than any flashlight or toy the kids had at the time. Then it happened again almost like a camera flash or lighting or whatever, all I can say is that it was very bright.
Picture if you will hubs and I crawling around on the floor waiting every few seconds to see where the flash of light is coming from then by the time we get to where we think it is it goes away. Should we call Ghostbusters, or pest control , or the police, or what. We sit in the dark for a minute waiting for the flash again. We wait with baited breath looking all around when bam, boom, clap, shazam it flashes again this time we can tell it is under the bed. "Well, at least we know where it is." I said "Now we need to figure out what it is." Hubs said. When I tell you the light was bright I am not kidding I think planes were trying to land in the front yard it was so bright.
We wait a few more minutes for another flash, with hubs on one side of the bed and me on the other we bend down and look under the bed. waiting .... like a lighthouse signaling ships to safety, brighter then the bat signal we see....... the fattest , biggest firefly we have every seen. Hubs flips on the light and we look at each other over the bed like are you seeing this thing then we begin to laugh hysterically. I mean this dude must have been sending a distress signal or something because even with the light on, his tail was flashing like crazy.
"What do you want me to do with him?" hubs ask "Gosh I don't know use him for a night light, catch him and get his giant lighted up ass out of here so we can get some sleep." I answer. Hubs quickly cupped the firefly in his hand opened the front door and gave him a toss. The firefly buzzed away lighting his way through the night.

Well, thanks for the adventure Karma , but I am going to bed now.
