Karma's Christmas Wish .......

As Karma would have my Christmas Wish is something so simple, so priceless that for all intents and purposes it may as well cost a Million Dollars. For My wish , My dream for Christmas is that on this day. I declare a cease-fire of complaints, bitching, whining, back stabbing  and over all negativity.
I hereby on this day declare my personal space a gripe free zone.
I look around me and all I seem to here is the cry and whine of not fair , she got , he got, my life sucks. So what if you did not get a pat on the back, a nice job , a congrats for something you did. Suck it up. We fail to see the big picture in our day to day task of complain, whining and bitching. Read the newspaper or for you of the younger Gen surf the web. Bad , sad, terrible  things are happening all around us. As long as you have or I have the following things then life is not as half bad as you seem to want to whine, complain and bitch , and wax negative about.
1. I have a warm bed to come home to each and every night.
2. I have a job that I drive to each and every day.
3.I wake up each and every day.
4.I have money in my pocket it may not be much but as long is it is enough to buy a diet coke then hey, I am happy.
5.I have a best friend, just one but at the end of the day that is all we really need.
6. I have 1 son who makes me laugh by cracking wise and for me that is enough.
7. I have 1 wyld child who works hard and for that I am proud.
8. I have 1 baby bird who is making her way in the world, for that I know I did a good job as a single mom so many years ago.
9. I have 1 man who has loved ME for 25 years.
10. I have a 3 year old and (her mom) who has allowed her to be in my life that makes me feel special with shared hugs and kisses, with giggles and grins.
11. I have a bevy of nieces, with 5 different and distinct personalities that always make life interesting.
12. I have both my parents who are alive and well, who bestowed upon me 2 sisters and a wicked sense of humor.
So for all you whiners, you complainers, your holders of negative thoughts. Stop and Look around count up what you have , not what you don't have Cease with the complaining , bitching, whining think hard about what you Do Have.


And that folks is ALL I want for Christmas.

As Karma would have it even when I try to take a day and get away karma somehow finds a way to follow me. When hubs and I first started to date we decided that we needed a weekend to go somewhere and have some fun, We asked dear old dad and my sis -K- to join us. So off we went to play the ponies at Hot Springs,Arkansas. We packed up the car got up early and hit the road. It is about a 3 or 4 hour drive from where we live so we got up in plenty of time to make the first race. Karma's Ode to Mom's

With Mother's Day fast approaching I wanted to wax poetic about the wondrous days I spent starry eyed at being a new parent how I breast fed how all my children were breast fed and toilet trained right out the womb and how little honey dew melon, her sister lemon drop and I sat under our willow tree in the moonlight weaving our own clothes.................... Karma's Bragging Rights ~A Love Letter To My Children

As Karma would have it Mothers Day is upon us this weekend to be precise. I am overcome with love and pride at the adults my children have become. I want them to know how much I love them and how I am who I am as a mother because of them. The flowers they give me may wilt, the ink may fade away on the cards I am given but there is something they have gifted me that will last a lifetime.  My baby bird gifted me this: Motherhood at a young age when I was on the road of self destruction due to low self-esteem. She opened my eyes to the wonders and joy that the world had to offer with her natural curiosity of the things around her. She gave my life true meaning  My wyld child gifted me this: Patience and imperfection, patience in that we all children learn at their own pace to she taught me to let things happen naturally and in due time.
