Karma's Village
Someone once said that it takes a Village to raise a child. this quote I know to be true. For growing up my children had in essence a village that included my two sisters, our parents, my husband and I along with a total of 8 kids. The kids often thought more of each other as siblings instead of as cousins. It did not matter which one of us villager when to pick up the children from school the teachers always knew to send out All the kids that lived in our little village. i did the feeding of the children, my sister Kelly did the cleaning and bathing of the children and our sister Carolyn helped the kids with homework. We all worked as a team in the raising of the children when one of us needed a break we knew that we could count on the other to pick up the slack in our busy kid filled life. it was not always peaceful nor did we always get along. But at the end of the day we always came together to sit at the dinner table and share with each other how our day went...
